What are your lashes made of?

-100% Cruelty Free Synthetic hair, 100% Sterilized Human hair & 100% Authentic Mink hair

How many times can I use my falsies?

Each lash is made to last though many wears. Approximately 10-15 times if cared for well. To get the most wear be sure to remove all glue gently after every use & place them back in their box. This is also good to help maintain their shape.

Are your lashes “one size fits all’?

Our lashes all come in one size, however they are not one size fits all. With our standard size lash band this allows you to cut or trim them to fit your eye shape perfectly.

Is mascara safe to use on my lashes?

Yes, mascara is safe to use on your lashes, which some like to add a extra coating of fullness or drama. However, it is not recommended because Luxury EyeSlay lashes are designed to deliver any added drama, fullness or length in our lash strips. This is also not recommended because it shortens the lifespan of your lashes.

How do I remove my lashes?

Removing your lashes are quite easy & pain free. Start by removing one eyelash at a time by securely holding the lash at it’s base and beginning at the outer corner, gently pull the lash towards the direction of your tear duct. If this doesn’t work for you, you can also use a oil free makeup remover by dabbing a little onto a Q-Tip, swiping it across your lash line, let it soften then proceed with gently separating your falsies from your natural lashes. How do I care for my lashes?

To ensure maximum use of your Lashes it is recommended after every use that you remove any access glue from you lash band before storing them back in their tray. Glue & makeup buildup can shorten the lifespan of your lashes. To remove any glue you may use your fingers, which works for most or tweezers. The glue normally comes off with one try all at once. Remember to always store your lashes back in the tray, this will also keep them in its original shape.

Are my Lashes safe if I get them wet?

Our lashes are made of 100% Mink fur or synthetic hair. Although safe to get wet we do not recommend getting your lashes wet purposely. This could alter the shape over time.

Are my falsies safe on my natural lashes?

Yes. When lashes are applied & removed correctly they are 100% safe on your natural lashes.

How long does it take to receive my order?

On orders within the US shipping time is 3-5 business days on all in stock items. If items are out of stock/sold out, time frame varies (Please ensure that your items are in stock before purchasing). On all international orders shipping time is 15-17 business days on all in stock items.

How do I sleep in my Luxuries By Lakay Lace Unit?

Never sleep on wet hair. It will cause it to mat and tangle. Make sure hair is completely dry before you go to sleep. * We recommend wrapping your hair at night and/or sleeping with a Satin Cap. It keeps the luster and sheen in your extensions.

Exercising/Swimming in Your Luxuries By Lakay Lace Unit
  • Always wear a swim cap when swimming. Chlorine and salt water will cause the hair to mat up.
  • If you get your extensions wet, wash your hair immediately after.
  • We recommend wearing your hair in a ponytail when swimming or exercising.
Can I style and curl my lace unit?

When brushing your extensions, use a soft bristle paddle brush. Brush starting from Tip to Top. Heat products are NOT your hairs best friend. The more often you use heat, the less life you are giving your extensions. If your hair needs drying, it is best to let your hair air dry.

How Do I Wash My Lace Unit?
  • Use a wide tooth comb or paddle brush to de-tangle hair, place wig on a mannequin and begin to wash hair with shampoo then conditioner. (Always use a silicone-based shampoo).
  • Never rub the hairs together. This will cause tangling and matting.
  • Once unit is washed and conditioned, turn it inside out, exposing the lace. Spray lace with Knot Sealer or Fray Block, which keeps the unit from shedding.
  • Optional. Once hair is dry, style as desired.
    We recommend washing your unit once every 2-3 weeks.
  • To avoid excess wear and tear on lace and hair, use a dry shampoo in between washes to remove excess product build-up.
Coloring Your Luxuries By Lakay Weft Extensions

We suggest that you allow a professional to color, bleach or perm your extensions.

Can I Exercise or Swim in my Luxuries By Lakay Weft Extensions

  • Wash your hair after exercising, swimming, etc. 
  • Prep your hair before washing it by starting from the tip and work your way up detangling the hair.
  • Wash your hair in a downward motion. Use a good QUALITY shampoo.
  • We recommend Creme Of Nature with Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner.
How is the hair length measured?

Our straight hair is measure in its natural state. However, the wavy and curly hair is measured while stretched out.

Can the hair be colored?

All of our products can be colored or lightened. We highly recommend letting a professional color your extensions.

What is a machine-made weft?

Machine-made wefts are the most commonly made weft styles. These wefts are made with a sewing machine and have been reinforced multiple times for durability. This style of weft can be cut for installation. Machine-made wefts are durable and DO NOT have to be sealed.

Will my hair look exactly like the photo?

The picture shown is to give an idea of our hair’s texture. There will be slight variations between the hair you receive and the hair in the photo. There will also be a slight variation in color and texture between each bundle because of different donors. Therefore, we cannot guarantee that the hair will appear exactly like the photo, however, we do guarantee the highest quality virgin hair every time!!

Will the hair look natural?

Yes, it will look natural because it is 100% natural Virgin Remy Human hair.

What is Virgin Donor hair?

You hear it everyday when talking about quality human hair products.

VIRGIN DONOR HAIR. But what does it mean? Virgin Donor Hair is unprocessed human hair that’s collected from a single individual.

It’s hair that has not been processed or damaged by perms, dye and/or bleach.

This is the ONLY type of hair that we use and is considered the highest grade of human hair.

What is Non-Remy Hair

Non-Remy hair is considered ‘waste’ hair because it’s collected from combs, brushes and/or the floor.The hair cuticle layers are going in different directions causing it to tangle. This hair is quick to tangle causing you to throw it and your money away. This type of hair is what is frequently sold in your local Beauty Supply Store.

Cuticle Direction- Cuticles in each strand of hair are NOT aligned in the same direction.
Easily Tangle- Because the cuticles are in different directions, which causes the hair to tangle.
Sheds- Cheaply made wefts and loose threads are common in non-remy hair, and can cause massive shedding.
Shine & Luster- Natural shine and luster are retained because of the cuticle direction.
Chemical Processing- Done by machine in large batches. High heating ovens are often used to dry the hair. Many times these brands are processed using harsh chemicals such as acid.
Longevity- Lasts longer than any other hair because of the high quality. Wefts are ONLY washed and NOT processed

What is Remy Hair?

Hair collected in such a way that keeps all of the strands in one direction from root to tip. Remy hair is stronger, healthier and and tangle-free as opposed to non-remy hair.

This hair can be used for multiple installations. This hair requires going through a process to achieve different textures. Cuticle Direction- Cuticles in each strand of hair are aligned in the same direction.

Tangle Free- Because the cuticles are in one direction, the hair does not tangle and lasts longer than any other texture.

Shed Free- Special sewing secures the weft and prevents it from shedding. Virgin Remy- Highest grade of human hair. Only the finest hand-picked healthy virgin hair is used.

Shine & Luster- Natural shine and luster are retained because of the cuticle direction.

Secret Processing- Done by hand in small batches. High heating ovens are NOT used to dry the hair. All natural food grade ingredients are used excluding any harsh chemicals such as acid.

Longevity- Lasts longer than any other hair because of the high quality. Wefts are ONLY washed and NOT processed.

Do you offer Consultations?

Consultations are available if needed for a small fee of $45. This fee is non-refundable. However, if you decide to go with luxuries by lakay, your payment will go towards your purchase.

Shipping: Please allow all domestic orders 3-5 business days to ship and

15-17 business days for international orders.

Please note that during holidays orders could be delayed.

We highly recommend placing your order in ahead of time.

Once the package has left our office with a tracking number and received by the post office and a tracking number has been sent to you we are not liable for lost or damaged packages.
We are not responsible for delivery delays due to weather, mishandling
by carrier, or undelivered addresses. Undelivered addresses include incorrect address, refused, or return to sender. Any address mistakes can cause a processing delay. All customers are responsible for inputting the correct information for the order’s billing and ship to address.

Orders are processed within 24 hours. Only in stock items can be shipped within 24 hours of order placement Monday-Friday.
Following receipt of a cleared payment:

-Lace units ship in 5-7 business days

-Virgin wefts ship in 3-5 business days

-Colored wefts ship in 5-7 business days

-Custom orders ship in 4-6 weeks (all custom orders will not be processed until confirmed by a representative. Therefore, custom orders cannot be returned or exchanged)

All products are shipped via usps. You will be sent a tracking number via email once processed for shipping.


Shipping delays


It is highly recommended that you not wait until the last minute to place your order. Luxuries by Lakay is not responsible for any late shipments due to holidays, natural disasters, increment weather or carrier delays. Neither are we responsible for any fees or costs associated with missed or canceled hair appointments. Purchase products far enough in advance to allow for unanticipated delays.


Unclaimed, refused or undelivered shipments


We do not refund any abandoned or refused shipments. Therefore, be sure to thoroughly check the address information on your order. Any shipments returned to us due to bad address, refusal upon delivery or cancellation after 24 hours of placing it, will be charged a 20% cancellation fee.

Unclaimed, refused or undelivered shipments

Hair return and exchange policy

What is your return and exchange policy?

All sales are final and changes cannot be made after an order is placed. Please review your order carefully before checking out. Luxuries by Lakay is not responsible for mistakes or errors in your order.
Exchanges only within five (5) business days of receipt. Hair can not be altered in any shape, form or fashion if being exchanged.
Hair can only be returned if you received an inaccurate order. We must be notified within five (5) business days of receipt. Once we receive the product, we will then send a replacement.
If you are at fault, the hair can still be returned only with the exception of you agreeing to pay the shipping fees, and restocking fee of 20%.

What is your refund policy?

Full payment is due at time of order placement. As soon as you place your order, your credit card will be charged.

Due to the nature of our business, all sales are final.

We like for our customers to be 100% satisfied when purchasing & receiving our products, in the event that you are not we do offer an EXCHANGE only on all unopened and unused products. Product has to be in its original packaging. A exchange will be granted within 48hrs of receiving your purchase once received by our office. You will be responsible for ALL shipping cost. Exchanges will only be granted within 7 days of receipt.
